Affiliated institutions
Ombudsfin is competent to handle complaints against the financial institutions listed in Article 128/1, §2 of the Law of 2 August 2002 on the supervision of the financial sector and on financial services.
These institutions are also mentioned on the specific lists of the NBB and FSMA (depending on the case), which are available on their respective websites:
- credit institutions;
- investment firms;
- electronic money institutions;
- payment institutions;
- lenders;
- intermediaries in banking and investment services;
- intermediaries in consumer credit;
- intermediaries in mortgage credit;
- credit servicers;
- all other institutions or persons referred to in this article.

Below you will find a list with the contact details of the complaints departments of a number of these institutions. If the financial institution is not mentioned on the list, simply state clearly in your correspondence with the financial institution concerned that the complaint or the mail is aimed at the complaints department.
